The Cycroft.com group of Web sites is published by blogger and nature photographer, Russ Campbell. As you may have already noticed, these Web pages are mainly about photography and politics, however, we do cover a wider range of technology subjects in our PhotoBlog and other social issues and events in our Blog. Russell (Russ) Campbell, Cycroft.com’s editor, was born in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Canada while still a teenager. After a career during which he was at different times a chief financial officer, a chief information officer, a chief operating officer and a consultant, Russ “discovered” photography.

Russ’s other interests include technology, politics, birding, family research, creative writing and sports, and so you can expect that we’ll eventually cover these areas in one way or another on Cycroft.com.

Russ now lives at Burlington, Ontario, Canada with his wife, Denisé, and spends his time photographing nature and blogging as a conservative who believes that common sense and independent thinking trump political dogma — hakuna matata.
